How does drop off and pickup work?

Wandervans uses a super convenient self checkout pickup and drop off system that allows you to pick up your van any time you would like. We will send you your custom access code as soon as your van is ready to be picked up. If your van is returned to us early enough the day prior to your scheduled pickup we will email you your access code as soon as your van is ready so that you can pick your van up as early as you would like the day of your scheduled pickup. In most rental locations we will aim to have your van ready by 9:30 am at the latest. Most of the time, your van is cleaned and prepped the day prior to your departure, so most often the van will be ready for pickup as early as you’d like on the initial day of your reservation.

We also offer “Night before Pickup” if the scheduling and availability allows. This service is an additional $60 fee, and must be requested in advance via email, which we will then check the schedule and confirm. The Night Before Pickup allows you to grab your van after 5pm on the day prior to your reservation so you can then get packed and ready for your trip the following morning. Please be aware, that this may require an additional day of insurance coverage as well, to ensure you’re covered the day prior to your original reservation commencing. We hope that makes sense!

Drop Off: On the last day of your rental, we do ask that you try to have the van back to us by 6pm, but we’re flexible and understand that adventures may not end on time. In addition, if you’re not flying out until later, we do allow you to keep the van for longer, but please always try to have your van returned by 8pm on the last day of your reservation.
