Do you have a minimum rental period?

Wandervans does have minimum rental durations (trip length) that change with the season and booking window (your trip dates). For example, if you’re booking early in the season, well in advance of your trip, we may have a 5 day minimum rental period setup, but when you get closer to the rental season, we do open up reservations for shorter trip durations, typically a 3 day minimum. This allows us to book longer trips first, then fill in the holes in our rental calendar with shorter trips. During the slow season, Nov-Feb, we often drop our minimum rental period to only 2 days which then allows for even shorter trips. For most up to date minimum trip durations please check availability. If you’re not seeing any van options showing up when you check the calendar, you may need to add more days to your booking in order to see what vans we have available on those dates.

For example, if you’re booking a 4th of July Trip 6 months in advance, it’s likely we’re requiring a 5 day minimum rental, and therefore if you’ve only selected 3 days on the calendar, the results may show that there are no vans available. Make sense? To fix that, please expand your trip dates to at least 5 days and you should then see more van options pop up. Booking early allows you to get the trip dates that are most “Ideal” for your adventure!
